Adding RSS Feeds


Add RSS feed to assets

Firstly you need to set up RSS feed widget in the assets:

  1. Go to Assets -> Widgets
  2. In the Add a Widget form on the right define a tag for your widget (the name which will be displayed in the list of widgets - for internal use only)
  3. Select type of media RSS Feed
  4. Specify the URL of RSS channel and number of posts you wish to display in the widget
  5. Press the Add widget button

Added widget will appear in the table with the list of widgets left of the Add a Widget form. You can edit or delete the widget at any time.

Alternative way to add RSS feed is to do this directly from the page designer. Do the following:

  1. Open the page in the editable mode (click on the edit link in the list of pages)
  2. Click on block in which you want to show the RSS feed (or add a new Widget block)
  3. Go to the Blocks settings tab in the page settings toolbar (the tab will be opened automatically once you will click on the needed block)
  4. Click on add new link to set up new RSS feed widget in the dialog box.

Secondly you need to add widget with your RSS feed to the page using the page designer.

  1. Open your page in the editable mode (click on the edit link in the list of pages)
  2. Click on block in which you want to add the flash banner (or add a new Widget block)
  3. Go to the Blocks settings tab in the page settings toolbar (the tab will be opened automatically once you will click on the needed block)
  4. Choose the feed from the list of widgets by tag (click on it)

The widget with the latest posts will be displayed on the page after loading.
